Blessed Again

by Anthony   Jun 9, 2006

When I was younger,
God sent us each other.
You became my sisters,
I became your brother.

Laughter abundant,
Joy without end.
I beleived I was Blessed
To call you both my friends.

But what goes up,
Must eventually fall,
And then you wouldn\'t even
Take my calls.

This was because
I betrayed your trust,
And my stay in the shadows
Became a great must.

And while I embraced darkness,
You embraced me back.
And gave me an outlook,
No longer just black.

Now I am happiest
Calling you friends.
I guess I am lucky,
To be blessed again.
