Friend

There's this boy
Who's suffering just won't end
He feels the world against him
And there's no one to call "friend"

There's this girl
Who's lost in her own mind
She's trapped and alone
With nothing but scars to remind

There's these two people
Who see the each other's heart
When one begins to cry
The other is torn apart

When he wants to give up
She's with him all the way
When he falls she goes too
Nothing can push her away

When she's fallen down crying
And all she wants to do is die
He'll be there to pull her up
And help her dry her eyes

There's this boy
Who's suffering has begun to slow
In this world he found one person
Who'll never allow him to let go

There's this girl
Who's mind isn't lost
Someone dared to reach out to her
And stop the scars at any cost

There's these two people
Who have each other to depend
They aren't alone in the world anymore
They have each other to call "Friend"

    Geez! I come back from vacation and you have 10 new poems? I have to catch up! But this poem was brillant. I loved its uncoiling meaning that the poem slowly released... it was perfect. 5/5!

    RAYCHIL!!! I am at a lost for words you gotta give me a sec here!!!

    When one begins to cry
    The other is torn apart
    ^^^ Even though I don't have a man in my life, I feel that way for my friends..I don't have a sister so I look to friends as sisters and when I see one cry it just breaks my heart so bad

    Secondly, I just love how you start with one boy, one girl, these two people..and ended it that way too...it gave your poem a great structure to it! I loved this poem and if it happened to be about you then it makes me completley happy because everyone in this world really does need a friend...its a great thing to see and read about!! I enjoyed this poem very much makes me want to read again!
