There are so many boys and so many men
But he's the only one who breaks her heart again and again.
He's like a criminal, don't you see?
He's committing a murder in the third degree.
He inflicts mental pain, all you thought he could do,
But he's only resting up for round two.
He continues to shatter her isolated heart,
Takes his time and rips it apart.
Round three, yeah he's back
This time his patience seems to lack.
He becomes frustrated and begins to yell,
That's when everything went black and she fell.
Thirty minutes later she rose herself with all her might
She looked side to side, but saw her "lover" was no where in sight.
Tears streamed down her now bruised cheeks,
And she began to think about the past few weeks.
She wondered how she could be so stupid,
So stupid to be tricked by a mischievous cupid.
Didn't he love her?
Didn't he say he loved her more than any other?
The doorbell rang and he stepped in,
Begging for forgiveness from his awful sin.
She pushed him away but he crawled back
She wiped her tears, "Only you can make my strength lack."
As she said this she turned away,
Crossed her arms, kept him at bay.
His face fell into his hands and he told her he wanted her back.
He told her he wasn't lying, no fiction, all fact.
She chuckled and simply said "too late",
And she walked out of his life and right through fate.
He thought of how many other women had done this to him too
His eyes widened as he came to a conclusion-he softly whispered "Only You."
