Still she waits

by XiAn   Jun 9, 2006

She stands in front of you waiting for you to notice her...
waiting for you to tell her she's beautiful..
tell her you love her through it all..
you'll be there forever and always.
but still you don't notice her lonely soul.
she hugs you and kisses you hoping you feel the same way she does...
but still you don't notice the love flowing from her.
she looks at you in teary eyes, hoping you'll ask what's wrong..but instead you say she's over sensitive.
now she stands alone...hoping you'll notice...hoping you'll draw near her..
finally you do but did the same mistakes as before..
now she's scared, so alone inside but still fakes it.
fakes her happiness just so she won't be lonely..
and still you say nothing..
but still she stands....hoping.
maybe 1 day when she's gone...will you notice?

Wow this poem is profound. This poem is worth way more than a '1'. It's worth more than 5. You capture the feeling and emotion of this poem all too well, and sadly it tells the story of too many girls craving love. This poem makes me want to others even more so that no one ever has to feel like this.
    Great poem. Keep on writing!
