Desire

by Benjamin Ishmael   Jun 9, 2006

Sitting here watching and waiting
Patience is a virtue when others believe
Questions go unanswered with ignorance
No doubt that some people often get deceived

How to stop the one thing you want
Blindness never reveals the truth
Open up your mouth and speak unspoken words
All I ever needed was the proof.

I say this to you as I close my eyes
The heart can suddenly stop or go
True well-being is not far behind
The truth about you is all I want to know.

Dreams come and the vision grows
Everyday can be an excitement to unveil
Believers are not pushed behind closed doors
Just to be the one that can hail.

Is it me or is it you
The one thing no desire can prove
Does anyone hold the key to eternal bliss
This I will challenge from you.
