Lost Love

In a moment in time she sits down and cries
With no reason why, is it because no one ever
Shows her love just the one that she let get
Away, the one she only liked to listen to music with
And the only voice she liked listening to. She knew
That there was something there, she knew that there
Was love in the air when they were together, but
They never tried anything with each other just that
They respected one anther.

On that day when he said “I like you a lot” and grabbed her
Hand all she was thinking was I’m moving in four month how
Could he tell me this when we knew each other for about two years, but
She held that back with also her tears when someone next to them said
“you guys together” and really all she could say was “just buddies”

And now that she’s so far way her mind wonders what
Would have been if she said “yes” instead if “just buddies”
What if she told him what she was feeling and that every
Thought was about him, hoping to see him, wanting him
As much as he wanted her,

Never did she know she would miss him so
This sad eye girl is all lone thinking what her
One and maybe her only was doing.
