The end of a best friend

by Irish Sweetheart   Jun 10, 2006

When I look at you,
I see the past,
a lost friendship,
I'd thought would last,
I see the times,
we spent just laughing and having fun,
you were like my brother,
you were like my mom's son,
when we were friends,
I never stopped having fun,
Life was good,
Until I introduced you to her,
she then broke your heart,
and that was the end,
of my best friend.

It's funny how things happen...we introduce people because we want them to be friends w/our friends, but we never know what may happen...this is a very good poem Danielle
