Where Have I been?, Where Am I Going?, Who Am I?

Where Have I been?, Where Am I Going?, Who Am I? --we made these for our 8th grade
graduation..

*I have gazed at the stars in amazement
*Been lost in deep thought
*I have been the saddest girl alive
*Through many battles fought

*I have also been very fortunate
*Even though i have been blue
*To have such a wonderful loving family
*Stuck so close to me like glue

*Ihave swam in the ocean
*Stuck my feet in warm sand
*Laid under the sun
*And walked hand in hand

*I have been caught in the moment
*Thinking about hopes dreams and fears
*I've tried harder than ever
*To fight away sad, gloomy tears

*I have kept many secrets
*And trusted others with mine
*Danced in the rain
*And lost track of time

*But the years have passed by so quickly
*It all seems to fast
*I have changed so much
*But i hope the good times will last

*Its time to figure out where i am going
*I need to start now
*So i will start with what i already know
*I will go wherever i want to go

*I will be active and free
*I will meet new people
*I will live the dream

*I will be happy and unafraid
*Hopes and wishes come true
*Goals accomplished
*Everything will be perfect
*Everything will be new

*I will go to new places
*I will be here and there
*Sometimes life will get tough
*Sometimes life will get unfair

*I will find true love
*Break a heart or two
*Answer hard questions
*But at times not even have a clue

*I will be faced with problems
*I will have to solve
*Try to break up a fight
*But somehow get involved

*It all seems so fun
*I can hardly wait
*Till that certain day comes
*On that one special date

*From here i have four years to go
*Until that one special date comes *And will soon be five minutes ago

*I will be sitting there
*Not wanting to wait
*To walk down the aisle
*On that one special date

*To see my parents happy
*But sad for me to leave
*Hoping for me to make it on my own
*Thinking about what i can achieve

*But like i said
*I still have to wait
*Four more years
*For that one special date

*Right now im stuck here
*A fourteen-year old girl
*Awaiting her future
*A gentle and patient beautiful pearl

*A girl that is thankful
*For everything she has
*A girl that is happy
*A girl with pa-zaz!

*A girl who is herself
*And no one can take that away
*She is an individual
*Not what others may say
