Love lies in the quietness of the nite

by clevername   Jun 12, 2006

So still
so quiet
so unnoticed
so beat
So broken
so numb
so torn
We're in defeat
But i hear you
you whisper
Your voice of prayer
that solumly smiles into my ear
"my dear, my Dear...

"Love lies in the Quietness of nite"

The moon casts a shadow
On my slumber drawn face
that soothes in and out
without a dispondent trace

I wish i could tell you i love you
As you Rub my hunched back
I wish i could tell you i love you
and start a new track

I know we're not a couple that god had planned,
or the world set forth
I know we're less happy and i know we're more damned
But when I'm with you i feel my life is all worth

and as the sun soon rises and my eyes soon awake
out of the quietness of my reverie
I wonder, was it all jsut fake
and then you reply...

"My dear, my dear...

Love lies in the quietness of the nite."

hold my hand and we'll walk to the everlasting gate
kiss my neck and you'll see that sharing love is never to late

"My dear I'll fallow you,
in to the dark
You said
My dear Ill fallow you,
To the moon
You said
My dear, I'll fallow you,
To the sun and to the sea
from you and then to me\"

My dear, My dear

"Love lies in the quietness of the nite"
