The Ultimate Prize

by Ashley   Jun 12, 2006

Eyes shining brighter than the sun.
A smile perfect enough for a god.
Who am I speaking of, you ask?
Well, please, do not think of this as odd.

I am only speaking of
The owner of my heart.
He stole it when I wasn't looking,
Now it's beating off the chart.

You took away a part of me,
You made it seem so easy.
It's only been a week,
So please don't think this as cheesy.

You are hard to rhyme for, you see.
Only so many words can describe you.
Hun, you are so unique,
That I am limited to few.

I ask of you, please don't stray.
I enjoy getting lost in your eyes.
I feel like a greedy kid,
And you are the ultimate prize.
