Ive lived my life knowing of the pain ive suffered

and when you are looked at like some kind of freak
you ask yourself why that is what they have to see

you have no clue how hard it is to look at yourself
when you pray you had the strength to not call for help
when you are expected to live up to impossible standards
you wonder how you will ever work with what you are handed
ive lived my life wishing so much was not like it is
ive wasted my time knowing my prayers are worthless
and when you have lived this way throughout your struggles
you realise what you have lived through
have not only changed you
