My Quest

Help all the poor
give the homeless man
some warm food and a coat

Wipe the tears from the faces
and paint on smiles of hope

Feed the hungry cat
I spied eating
from the trash can

Give that poor dog a bone
and find him a loving home.

Help that girl find her Mom,
Make that dad love his son

Instill strength in the weak,
put confidence in the young

Erase the painful memories
replacing them with happiness

Heal the wounds
and conceal the cuts

Open the eyes of the blind
Show them the colors,
the beauty of life

Stop all the fighting
and build a bridge of love
between racism and hate

Unlock the doors of mercy
and open them wide

Make every dream come true.
