I'll be waiting

by Bradley Peter   Jun 12, 2006

Up by the tree tops, past the crystal lakes
where the homely mounting, inhabits crystal flakes
up high where the air, is fresh and clear
that's where I'll wait, for you my dear

I'll bring my guitar, and we'll sing songs
way up there, there's no rights or wrongs
it will be our place, that only we will share
our own little home, in among'st nowhere

we'll laugh, and dance, and smile and sing
we'll build a home with a garden swing
we can have long talks and watch the views
or we could just do, whatever you choose

we'll sit on a blanket, placed by the fire
then I'll put it out, to fulfill your desire
we'll lie in the light, provided by the moon
and sleep like logs...hope to see you soon
