I just can't be everything you wanted me to be.
I tried my hardest,
It just didn't happen.
I didn't ask for this curse,
I didn't ask to break your heart,
But now you must let go.
Leave me now, let go of me.
We can't go on this way, you and me.
Things are different now,
Not the way they used to be.
Do I have to scream it in your face??
I need to move on, so do you.
People change, but time moves on.
If it's meant to be,
It will someday happen.
For now, we must go
Things must drop, friends we'll try.
Time is what is needed most.

well as you can see, most of my love poems tend to be lost love.... i just broke up with my boyfriend about 2 maybe 3 months ago, and we had been together for about and year and two months... many reasons contributed to this, and now i like someone else very much, who actually has a girlfriend... my ex got a girlfriend a week after we broke up, so you can see this wasn't a pleasant break up... i'm taking it rough because it was my first boyfriend and i broke up with him (i guess that's one of the pluses haha)... let me know what you think of this because it was to him when i thought he cared/missed me! The next day after i wrote this i found out that he got a new gf (mind u a week later) and never used this poem b/c it wasn't even true anymore for him
