My Dream Come True

My eyes light up
And my smile grows,
As the wedding bells chime
And I look down the rows.

My Prince Charming is waiting,
He's looking at me,
He's got tears in his eyes
And he's weak in the knees.

We are made a couple
And turn to the crowd,
A newly-wed set
Happy and proud.

Back to reality
I come fast and strong,
Ready to face
Whatever goes wrong.

But I realize that
God has treated me well,
And that guy standing next to me
Is my future in a shell.

I'm loved by a guy
Who is truer than true,
Picks me up when I fall,
Holds my hand when Iâ??m blue.

He'll stay by my side
No matter my way,
Through college and career,
He will always stay.

Then back to that altar,
Only this time it's true,
We'll look at each other
And say a well-awaited "I do!"

this was about me and my boyfriend that i broke up with... i thought it was a really cute poem so i felt the need to submit it... when i was cleaning out my computer from all the stuff of me and him, i didn't delete this poem b/c it was one of my favorites and it really could pertain to anyone, even the guy i currently love... so enjoy and give me your reactions!
