When someone you love leaves you
its hard to just forget
but now i wish i never met you
ill add that to my list of regrets
its not easy facing the facts
and its not easy stepping up to the truth
its not easy letting go
especially having to let go of you
you know you mean the world to me
you know i gave you my heart
you know you were my everything
i told you that from the start
and now i have to say goodbye,
because loving you still is wrong
i know i have to stand my ground
keep telling myself to stay strong
but its hard to make it through
when all my faith is gone
sometimes i feel like letting go
but i force myself to hold on
i will always have a love for you even though you don't feel the same
I'm trying to handle this as best as i can

i hope you'll always remember
that my feelings for you were real
but now there really is no point in telling you how i feel
so I'm just going to say goodbye

as difficult as it is to do

and leave our past behind
i have to erase the memories
