People these days

I've been sad lately
Like the world is falling down around me
I've got what I want and I still can't seem to force a smile
I can't lose what I have, I can't take that again

The worlds stopped its spin
Paused and everyone else is going
About as if nothing ever happened
When there are children dieing and old people trying
To get out of bed and things are hard around us all
And no one seems to care it at all.

There are so many things that the world doesn't need like smoking and drinking and sending men overseas.
War and hate and drugs, debate,
No more love

Everyone just shoved the planet to another dimension
Where nothing matters but money and sex
Little ones dieing because of parents mistakes
It's not fair to those who make the decisions that keep this world going
Who live with experiences, life with no regrets?
