When I first saw you
i didn't know what to think
you stole my heart and my breath
and both you can keep.

Every time I saw you
I looked so calm even though
I just wanted you to think I was strong.

I was going through hell
and not being able to say anything
to you was the worst and finally
i said something to you
and I went red face for the first.

I never had a hard time
talking to anyone but you
after sometime of trying
I gave up some like him, like me?
No way in hell was that meant to be.

So I just let it be....
and put people back in the shadows
and I just hide behind a trees.

I tried to leave
what my heart hungered for
and when I finally forgot
or just didn't remember any more

You walked back into
my life once more
and when we finally talked
you should have seen
the look in my eyes,
or the smile upon my face
That was the first smile
in a long time that i made wasn't fake.
