Beep beep beep
The noise slowly ticks on
You hear the sounds so faint, so far
I cant see you laying there
They wont let me inside
You hand grows cold
Looking for my hand to hold
Beep beep beep
The noise ticks slower
Please done let it fade away
Your face is wrapped up tight
White bandages stained red
I see you through the window now
Are you awake or are you asleep?
I cant tell your face is covered
Beep.... Beep....
Louder and slower ticking
The nurse runs inside pushing me away
My hands pressed against the window
Tears start to flow as the doctors scream
CLEAR!
They stop for a moment..
Silence
And then...
The beeps come back to life
Beep beep beep
Your heart beats with the machine.
