Butterfly Collector

Butterflies invade where no one can see,
In the pit of my stomach is where they fly free.
Coming to see me, I watch you come near,
You think they grow tired? Tired is their fear
Because butterflies are fond of you,
& if You* leave, then they will too.
They don't want to leave the place they call theirs,
The place that you gave them the reason their here.
Their number of wings are multiply by dozens,
When words are no longer said & nothing is spoken.
Instead of using Your* voice to express,
Look into my eyes, & see no regrets.
I will never doubt my feelings for You*,
& if you return them, my butterflies will then, too.
So, don't leave & take their beautiful wings along,
Stay with me & make them live on.
For as long as you decide to keep me as your one,
The butterflies that you give me, have already won!
