Sun and Rain

The Sun soaks into my body
Like water into dirt
The hot rays embracing a part of me.

Thoughts seap through my brain
I get caught up in you
As my warm blood boils.

The clouds come out and rain pours down
The blood cools
She comes into play.

I'm rushed out to sea
Drowned by tears of hope
Waiting for the ship to rescue me.
