Lost in my thoughts

Lost in my thoughts
i cant see the
brightness of my heart
or what it truly wants

Mixed with greed and jealousy
all I hear is lies
Fighting for the truth
I rip apart my life

Into a puzzle that cant
be put back together
shattered beyond hope
i have lost it all

So now ill start new
and go away to
leave everything behind
even my heart

with nothing to lose
ill play with death
to fill the whole
where my heart once was

hopefully to drown
the memories of you
that still haunt me
when I close my eyes

and when one day
I slip and fall
I pray to hold love
in my arms once again

for I will never let go
till every drop of blood
has spilled to earth
and my soul touches the sky
