Moonlit Shores

by Bobbie   Feb 21, 2004

Moonlit shores,
In the midnight,
That stretch from field
To highways
And from highways
To country roads,
Over the lakes,
Creeks,
And streams.
I walk into
The warm water of the summer night.
In all but my bare skin.
The moon shines into
The water
To show a bright
Shiny reflection
Of a night that will last forever.
A night that will
Let imagination
And dreams become reality.
A night that will prove to
Let two people be themselves.
Swimming together
In the mystical magic
Of fantasy
As I dream
It will come true
Being with him for forever.
