I Blame You

by Lexi Lou   Jun 13, 2006

I cried on your once warm shoulder
Right after he got done kicking me around
You whispered the soothing lies even you didn't believe
Wiped away my tears and made all kinds of indignant sounds

He kept on talking malicious lies
You promised you would keep a close watch
You scolded me and told me I could do better
You threatened to take a hit at his crotch

As soon as the picture is slanted and reversed,
somehow the rules of the game change
And I'm what you told him I wasn't
You flip back to the destorying page

I depended on you and you boosted me
Only to drop me flat on my back
If that is what you call a true friend
You can take your friendship back
