Never To Return

by Bradley Peter   Jun 13, 2006

I get home late
i look a sorry sight
stagger into bed
it's the same every night

i dream of your face
i wonder where you are
i want to touch your skin
but i know that you're too far

tears in my sleep
awake in a cold sweat
i can barely stay afloat
in the rivers of regret

i know i let you down
every night i pay
a lifetime of regret
that will never go away

wish it wasn't you
wish i had paid the price
you were so brave
you make your sacrafice

because of me your gone
never to return
the loss of a love
is the lesson i must learn

K, now I've read dese agen I've changed my mind I think this 1 is my favourite ov da 2, I like them both and it is hard to choose because they are both so sad but I think it's the fact that this one deals with the aftermath of losing someone rather than the process of losing someone like The Dying Wife does which makes it slightly better in my opinion.
