I thought I knew what love was
Because I had the perfect guy
He always made me smile
And took away my sigh

For 9 months we were together
We were together every day
And I guess thats why its hard
To see him walk away

I never saw it coming
It just stabbed me in the heart
He always held me together
But now Im torn apart

Now Im just to lost
With no place left to turn
It seems like everyday
He loves to watch me burn

As I think back on my life
I thought I knew him well
But now Ive come to find
That he put me through such hell

Ill admit we had some good times
But we also had some bad
I guess he just gave up
And left with what he had

But somehow Ill move on
Ill put him in the past

The memories will always last.
