Plucked Daisy

by Mousie   Jun 13, 2006

That daisy has been plucked so many times,
Still nothing.
I need a straight answer
Instead of feeling like a pinball
In the game of life.
Days droan by
I look at it from every perspective
And still,
That bare stem stares back at me
With no answer.

Just when I think I've figured it out
I'm wrong.
Back to the daisy.
Soon all the daises in the world
Will die...
That's when I won't be around any longer.

Hope you like this poem... i thought it was a bit different and hopefully you get some of the symbolism in it!

[I liked those lines alot. I've never read someone writing about life being a pinball game. Very creative.]

Keep up the great work. It was a wonderful poem. 5/5
