Flirtatious

You sat yourself beside me,
On the day of August 3rd,
Catching my eye with every little glance,
Wishing the message to be heard.

It took a little while,
But by now I see it's true,
You wanted me to see that look
And hoped that I liked you.

I called your name, you gave a glance,
It took me by suprise
I never really thought you'd answer,
To one of my little old "hi's".

And that is where the flirting began,
All by a little glance,
And now I pray my dream will come true,
And he'll ask me to the dance!!

I wrote this b4 me and my ex got together, but it's always been one of my favorite poems... i wrote it when i wanted him to ask me out... i just thought i had to put it in here!... it's basically the story of us b4 we got together
