Silience Of Truth

by Rachel D Fogle   Feb 22, 2004

They know before they start that they don't connect with you.
Yet they continue to call & act as if they do.
Getting you excited as if you matter to them, only to hear them say later I'm sorry this has to end.

Silence is that pause, that hurt beyond what you can feel.
Where everything comes down and the wombs feel as if they will never heal.

Millions of questions come to mind,
Millions of reason as to way they let this happen and stayed silent with no truth inside.

Why hold you and tell you your important to them?
Why lie and say things that will only make it worse in the end?
Why not just be honest from the minute you meet and say hey I think this is a friends thing, nothing more please don't freak.

At least it would be honest up front from the start.
No weeks & months of being someone whom you are not.

Silence of Truth is the cruelest of all kind.
For it leads someones heart to that very fine line.
The one that lets us know its OK to make that move.
The one that lets us know your there because you want it to.

Heartache is a road all of us must travel.
It's lined with hearts of all shapes & classes.

But, when someone brakes a heart when they knew it could have been prevented.
Its the hardest of losses to forgive and make better.

Silence of Truth my friend you are indeed,
For at the end of my road I will hold you very deep.

You will help me with this womb that he has left behind.

And one day I will see that he was not worth the time.
