Oh Lord, if you cared.

by Sarah Ann   Jun 13, 2006

Oh Lord, put a stop to this confusion
Bring back the sight to all those blind
Give life to those who lost their souls
Plant seeds of hope into my mind

Show me you really care about us
Turn your world right side up once more
And prove to me you have the power
To stop the hardships, wars and gore

I know this is a test of faith, I've heard
And we should all be patient in life
But I'm sick; I'm sick and tired of
Of all this pain and thriving strife

I want from you one good reason
One point for me to sit around
When agony bleeds deep in my soul
And death seems so profound

It seems I can't find the answers
Where is peace and where are you
If I were able to understand that much
I would believe my faith is true

But now this candle keeps dimming
And this light is moving low
God, give me the push I need to believe in you
Because I know you're there, I know

I really liked this poem. I think faith to me though is truly believing without a shadow of doubt. You have to believe the saying... when you're down to nothing - God's up to something

Keep up the great work - and God bless
