I can't go on

by Robert   Jun 13, 2006

You go through time without haste
not bothered about what will be,
meanwhile, I wait, feeling chased
by the growing doubt inside me.

It's nice to know you can go on,
putting it past your everyday life,
but I continue with grief and swan
about wandering the pathways knife.

I feel like letting go of everything,
leaving it all behind and fleeing
to some distant place, to spread wing
and to take flight of freeing.
