Feel Not

by Rachel   Jun 13, 2006

She wandered through the halls
Feeling more like a ghost than a student,

She watched kids laugh and smile
Wishing that she could be like them,

She wanted to feel
So badly to feel,

But when she finally desired feeling
It left her cold and empty,

At one time,
She had felt too much,

For too many sad things
Had occurred in her life,

Too many things
Had made her cry,

Too many things
Had made her scream in sadness,

Too many feelings
Had once run through her,

Too many feelings
Had left her confused and angry,

Too many feelings
Had cornered her and taken hold,

Too many
Too many,

Now
When her life could be normal,

When she had a chance
Of forgetting it all,

Feeling deserted her
And left her to die,

So
She accepted her fate
And became a ghost,

For feel she could not.
