You stole my air

by Jess   Jun 13, 2006

A fire's burning through my heart,
A crowded room, i stand apart,
I try to speak, but words aren't there,
You stole my voice, you stole my air,
I try to breathe, but only choke,
My lungs are blocked, though i dont smoke,
And suddenly i break the mould,
My legs cant stand, begin to fold,
A tear blocks my sight once more,
And once again i search the floor,
For a black hole, where i can lie,
Without you near, i need to die.

I really like the setting you place with the mood of this poem. It's beautiful and sad.
