I lost him

When i read the message i couldn't believe what i read
When my friends came back in the room i told them what it said.
They didn't believe, they thought i was lying
But i guess they could tell that inside i was dying.
I told them it didn't matter and that i was fine
But i guess on my forehead there was a big "hurt" sign.
I did things that night i shouldn't have done
But to my friends it was a lot of fun.
It made them think that i was OK
After what i did theres nothing else to say.
I truly screwed up that night
And most of the things i did was just out of spite.
To tell you the truth i miss him more than anyone could know
But theres no way he'd take me back so...
I guess I'll just sit here and think of how good things would be
If maybe just maybe he still liked me.
