Hello Solitude

by Weeping Wolf   Jun 14, 2006

Fallen leaves on playground pavement
Broken lampposts don't provide comfort
I walk under a purple sky of my own world
wishing once again i was only sleeping...

The rain that falls tells a story
as a mysterious piano plays in my head
a sad song, a unknown chorus, an elegy
of the hollow feeling consuming my heart

Has no one known I'm not breathing?
Hello solitude,
giving me someone to talk to
I smile and deceive...
lost in the raging sea of my thoughts
Hello solitude,
Hello.

A violin of sorrow echos through me
I'm whats left of the past, of yesterday
Let the waves take me away...

Seashells.
Seashells.
Memories.
Treachery.

Your voice
i hide away from everything else
Your eyes
I see nothing else
Hello says Solitude...tell me...
why aren't you yet crying?
Hello.

Stranded and abandoned
will i wake from this dream?
miserably realizing...
this is my reality.
Hello Solitude.
Hello.

Don't try to fix me, i have always been broken
Ooh...Solitude...all this time....
I haven't been sleeping.
I haven't been breathing.

Ah, lala! I won't let solitude grab you or attack you like an insane lonatic. You're always safe in your imaginary bubble! Great poem! I know I sound insane, I'm in 1st period and so so so bored!
