Everyone clapped as the curtain fell
I cried out to everyone
No one could tell (please don't go)

We would shine so brightly through the darkest nights.
We had our finally with a final soft kiss goodnight.
Then we clapped a job well done, one more broken heart for our scrapbook tonight.

We walked away with our hearts well wasted

I could see people clapping

I guess you seeing me with him was saddening
