I know I've let you down a lot and you don't have a clue, but if you find out please don't be hurt that i couldn't talk to you.

I've made some plans to make it right, the way that i know how,
so please stop that worried look from creasing up your brow.

I've talked to you before, and every now and then,
till slowly I've noticed your life's begun to mend.

So i wont burden you any more, not even at the end,
but please know,no matter what you'll always be my friend.

you've helped me, more than you could ever know,
but now its time for me to go.

I loved you lots so don't forget, or weep tears of bitter regret,
you loved me more than i ever needed,
but in the end i couldn't beat it.
