Pain or freedom of divorce?

by Allie   Jun 14, 2006

You shout through me, you fight through me;
You make me cry in pain.
To stop you I would bleed to death, waste my life or scream out my last breath.

The way you push and pull and shove
When all I want is love,
Drives me mad and breaks my heart,
But there you go again and start.

How can I live a full happy life
Like you said I should?
How can I believe in love?
When all you teach me is how to fight?

Nothing I do is good enough;
I always let someone down,
If one of you disagrees with me
Both of you start to fight and frown.

When I think of how life was, I think divorce is good,
But at the time I misunderstood.
Was it something I did to split you?
Help me out here what did I do?

    You didn't do anything to cause the divorce. My parents are going through a divorce right now and the one thing my dad always tells me is it has NOTHING to do with the child. ever. His parents got divorced and he blamed himself for yearsss. until he got help. Maybe you should talk to someone? It works.
