Sometimes i wonder
where i've been
and where i'm going
to meet you again

Will i see you
in a brief stare
walk away
pretend you're not there

or will i walk up
say a word or two
ask how life
has been treating you

although i dont know
what ill really do
ill get the same feeling
from the thought of you

bu you'll never know
because i've kept it inside
to scarred to tell my secret
to no on i confide

my feelings stay strong
but our friendship starts to fade
i guess ill take my secret
into my lonely grave

instantly you smile

my heart flutters
among the bliss

i had traded in my secret
and got something better
i wrote down my feelings

you responded quickly
the proposed with a ring
and whispered at our wedding
"you're my everything"

now five years later
with a baby on the way
i still am speechless
and dont know what to say

so i take your hand
and i know what to do
so i smile and ask
"hows life been treating you?"
