Don't Change, Be Yourself

by Staci   Jun 14, 2006

Well, I wasn't sure what this one would be but oh well...This is the first poem I've written that hasn't been about suicide...so yeah...

people in denial
now here's the real trial
can you be yourself?
or will you turn to the razor on the shelf?
will you let society change you?
or will you do what you do?
why do you let them do that?
you know you're not a brat
don't ever let them break you down
don't let your smile turn to a frown
you always used to cut
i know you hurt, but
remember there are people that love you
and suicide isn't what you should do
keep your chin up high
don't let the bad stuff fly
it's your life
your don't have to live with strife
keep your razor on your shelf
and always be yourself
