Am I Beautiful Now?

by Dahlia   Jun 15, 2006

Now that I stopped eating
So I can be skinny?

Now that I put on tons of makeup
So I can cover my blemishes and imperfections?

Now that I wear skimpy clothes
So you can see every part of me?

Now that I drink coffee
So I can impress you with maturity?

Now that I marred my skin with a tattoo
So you can marvel at the 'beauty'?

Now that I've cut my wrists
So I can get your attention?

Now that I've started smoking
So I can impress you with drugs?

Now that I'm drunk
So you can take me willingly?

Now that I'm no longer innocent
So you can appreciate my experience?

Now that I've been thrown out of my house
So I can say I stood up to my parents?

Now that I work at McDonalds flipping hamburgers
So I can show you my money?

Now that I've changed
So you can say I'm beautiful...

So tell me now:

Am I still beautiful?
