A suicide that will never happen

By the train tracks and I am free
Free to die here today
Nobody here to hold me back
I always planned to die this way

Here I stand with a smile
I know where I want to be
I walked onto the tracks
The train still distant from me

The train came by
I heard
A death I once created
A plan I made one awful day
A suicide that will never happen,
An end never taken this way
