Lost

I'm lost from the world I once, innocently, believed in.
Lost from myself.
Lost inside of myself.
I'm lost in a world where screams reverberate over and over around me.
I'm lost in a world where the only way to stop the pain is to cause more pain.
In a world where crying is commonplace and the chance of hearing laughter is slim to none.
I'm lost in a world where it causes unbearable pain to think of all the yesterdays to come.
I'm lost
But no one seems to notice that I am trapped in my thoughts. In a world of my making.
No one else seems to hear the screams that I hear....or cry the tears that I do.
No one else feels the pain that gnaws at my heart daily.
No one else seems to be lost and no one is trying to find me.
