Hi :) Before you read my poem, please look at this: I am in no way as sad as this, but I once was.

This is a contest entry where I was challenged to use these words in this order:rain, alone, gone, black, never, scream(s), heart, forever. Just to let you know :)

Splashing waterfalls that choke me
Tears cold, but warm, as the rain
The knife and glass barter my soul
I feel alone in all my pain

It's gone now
The nightmare has truly left now
I close my eyes and all is black
Why do I still remember?

"You're never allowed to cry!"
I hear her say
"I want to die!"
The mirror screams at my face

Once again, I'm the wolf
Forever by myself
Shut my heart to strangers
It's too late, no one can help
