Cold, Alone and Bloody

by Karen Simpson   Jun 16, 2006

Feet wet and bloody
Running through the woods
I wish you understood
I wish you even could

Running from the truth
And walking away from you
I wish I could explain
I wish I could tell you the truth

But alone wet and bloody
I realize theres no hope in trying
As I sit here hugging my knees
and slowely start crying

A broken branch awakes my thoughts
I cannot stay here much longer
So I walk home, cold alone and bloody
As my broken emotions turn to somber
