Metal Stars

by Wings Of Flames   Jun 16, 2006

Stars hung in the sky,
As I stared in disbelief,
My world rushing past me,
With no signs of bitter grief,

Alone a word so cold,
Ice lies all around,
Hits and blows against me,
But me wihtout a sound,

The flowers die inside themselves,
So no one sees their pain,
No saviours left for me,
In the frozen drops of rain,

Time has melted beneath me,
Age is ripped to shreads,
Tattered skin along the stream,
Sown with needle threads,

Sorry pleas, forgiveness,
Makes no dent or change,
Metal to your heart,
Hate has formed a range.

    Great poem!

    correction:
    but me wihtout a sound
    should be:
    but me without a sound

Another good piece. i loved the style of writing. sometimes people try to put this off but never manage it, so well done. my favorite stanza was the third one.
