Leave Nothing

by GoodMorning   Jun 16, 2006

Shove these blades into my mouth,
Make me eat my words.
Force them down,
Cut up my throat
So I can't say
All these fvcked up things

Make me cry,
Make me bleed,
Tear the selfishness out,
Rip the jealousy up,
Beat the insecurities out.

Please.

Leave nothing,
Nothing at all.

I'm full of bad.
What good could I ever do?

Kill me now
Before I hurt
Him

Erase the memories,
Erase me.

I can't let go,
Take him away,
To where he'll be
Happy.

*Eh, I'm a bit depressed. Needed to write something. And it's been awhile. Sorry it sucks so effing badly.*

Don't put your work down, even if you wrote it just as a venting emotion poem, be proud of your work always. I was particularly captivated with the beginning of this poem, about eating blades to rip away what you don't want to be there. I could also relate to wanting to take someone away so I wouldn't hurt them. Even though this poem was for you, I could relate to it so much of it in my own life and that made it a great poem to me.
