Shades of Grey

by Jemma   Jun 16, 2006

Seeing past through the screens
Crisp white linen, sails at sea
Halls of mirrors and I what's behind?
And I always look between

Shades of grey
Nothing's ever gonna be black and white
Nothing is that simple
There is no wrong, no right
There never can be

There's always an exception to the rule
I never made them; I'm made to break them

I keep looking for answers on an empty page
And I always find half-truths
Deception of life, so complete
It keeps tricking me

I keep seeing shades of grey,
Everything in-between
