Paper Flowers

by LadyPearl   Jun 16, 2006

Fragile hands as smooth as stone
Embracing flowers, death's cologne
In a world of fatigue and raging death
These flowers have taken their final breath

Old and withered was my eternal light
Weeping at the heartbreaking sight
Lack of water and hope to survive
The hands of darkness swiftly thrive

To save that last bit of beauty on Earth
I gave these flowers a brand new birth
Using my last weak trembling power
I made death into a soft paper flower
