I am an average teenage girl.
I wonder why I love him so much, so fast
I hear him say This will never last
I see him walk out the door
I want him to say I love you just once more
I am a lonely teenage girl

I pretend I don't really care
I feel my heart beat with despair
I touch my eyes to stop all the tears
I worry you help bring back all my fears
I cry because we will forever be apart
I am a lonely teenage girl with a broken heart

I understand why you don't wanna be mine
I say Don't worry Ill be fine
I dream that one day you'll come back to me
I try to let you be
I hope you know
I am a lonely teenage girl with a broken heart because of you

    I say Don't worry Ill be fine

    that is so true! i think that atleast once in a girls life they say that! and i love how the last line in ech stanza says the same thing but adds a little bit!!! this is a great poem..BEAUTIFUL AND TRUE!!!!

    Okay so guys....this was like the first poem that I have ever written...i wrote it in 8th grade...and i was going through my stuff, and i thought it was good, so i submitted it...just thought i would give all the readers some background info haha....so i hope you enjoyed this! and thanks bunches for the comments
